Little Piggy Tracker (formerly LittleGPTracker, often abbreviated LGPT) recently added a feature I've been curious to try. Instead of making a tutorial, I wanted to see where it would naturally lead over two short music-making sessions spread across two days.
This video follows that process, from an empty project, through the inevitable dead ends and small discoveries, to a finished track.
Along the way, I also ended up talking about labelling, and why naming things often feels inadequate.

Little Piggy Tracker is a free music tracker that runs on a variety of handheld devices. It occupies a similar space to devices such as the Dirtywave M8 or PICO Tracker, while remaining free. It may not be as feature-rich, but it more than satisfies that urge to make music wherever you happen to be.
