About the release
It’s raw, honest, and full of imperfections—clearly made without much technical knowledge at the time. But that’s exactly what makes it meaningful to me. It reminds me why I started making music in the first place.
The songs came together slowly over the course of two years, in small moments—mostly late at night. I never really reached a point where it felt finished or ready, but eventually, I decided to let it go and release it as it was. It felt good enough. And that was enough for me.
Even now, years later, I still come back to it now and then. There’s a certain feeling in these tracks that I can’t quite explain—a kind of warmth and nostalgia that still lingers.
I distintly remember that at some point our family got away to a tiny cabin for a few days. It was raining almost all the time, which fits perfectly the mood of the album, I think.

The cover photo was taken long before I figured out I could even make music. It was taken in 2012 in Crimea, Ukraine. Here's another photo from that period, where I'm trying to get some cellular signal on a phone that had many buttons on it.
