About the release

This was one of the few high-energy tracks created during the early years of Cotetco. It’s loud, danceable — but carries a certain melancholy beneath it.

The structure is split in two: the first half sets the tone, while the second builds on it, pushing the energy up a notch. That shift still gets me, every time. Interestingly, this became one of the more well-received tracks in Cotetco’s catalog — even if the overall numbers stayed modest.

I also have to mention the video. At the time, I had this idea to write a bit of code to help generate the background visuals. I ended up spending about a week’s worth of evenings and weekends putting it together. It felt like a big deal back then — and honestly, it still feels good to revisit, especially considering I had practically no background in coding.
